I was playing around with a coat design today, and it turned into a uniform/military style short coat. It took me about four or five hours in total, which is great if I want to turn it into a production item.
So here is my question for you, would you wear this a semi-regular fashion item? if so, what colours would you like to see it in? is there enough detailing? (I still think it needs somthing on the back) and how much would you be willing to pay for it? (just for fun >_<
It's made from a stretch cotton/lycra twill lined with fleece (the sleeves are unlined) the closures are snaps and a buckle.
so any input on this would be most helpful! thank you!!!
ooh! I really like this design! It's really unique and classy.
answers to your questions:
a) yes i would wear it for sure!
b) i love the colour it's in right now
c) i think a little more detailing on the back would be nice like some more seams or something
d) hehe, i'm miserly when it comes to paying for clothes so i really don't know
Ahh, very neat ^^ I really like this! I would totally wear something like this, and I love the color as well...the back does look a little empty but I think if any were to be put on the back it'd be best to just stick with the black+blue color combination
that is a super cool jacket!!
hm...I would definitely wear it, colors would be nice in black or grey, and I agree there should be some detailing on the back, since there is so much on the front. The buckles are just smexy.
Hm, how much to pay...well, it depends on the quality of the lycra and the buttons/buckles...I pay a lot for tailored clothing...so maybe $150, especially since it's handmade and everything.

I really like the collar on this coat alot. So yes this is a really great design and I would definitely wear it. Actually I am ok with the back, I like it being simple. I also like the color alot, but browns are always good in my book too. And I think the 60 to 70 dollar range is always good for nice coats. I'm really glad you are thinking about putting your clothing up for sale since you have such wonderful ideas. I have always been a fan of clothing that is influenced by fantasy.
Arrrrrwwww~ i love such uniform/military stuff! *__*
a)And YES i would wear such a jacket. (the same for you hakama-trousers. these stuff is so cool O__O)
b) the blue is nice but i like red or black better
c) i thinks is enough detailing for a jacket
d) price? uhm... its handmade, you spend ja lot of time and a jacket is not easy tu sew. also~ if the jacket have my size and the right color for me, i would pay 50-100 (i don't know how much it is in $ o.O?)
