It's done!
There was some great suggestions for closures on my WIP of this peice, and I really was thinking of frogs. But if I'd done that it would have taken way too long (becuase I'd make them myself) and therefore would make the piece less affordable. So I went with the brass snaps. The red is 100% wool, and its fully lined with rayon satin/jacquard. I had to make the sleeves a little shorter becuase i didn't have much of the wool. The sleeves can be worn folded up, or left down, and the front can be worn open for a less military look. I like it better closed myself. It looks so much better on a person, so hopefully I'll do a real photoshoot with it soon.
