My entry for 's contest.

We were supposed to draw her original character and guess his name and story. So I thought I'd give it a go since I can't really resist drawing a half naked dude with wings, pointy ears and purple hair. I mean, come on! How could I say no?!?!

So heres my go at his story. Just note that I am not a very good writer to this will most likely be short.

Dei is the son of a mortal woman from the normal plain of existence and an immortal being from the Otherworld. Dei dwells in his mother's world, but due to his father's origin, he lives much longer then normal mortals and can even perform some elemental magic. He feels a great longing to journey to the Otherworld and seek out his father, but something (or someone) holds him back. Due to this conflict he becomes very weak during the Time-Between-Times (such as sunset or sunrise) when the Otherworld and the real world are closest to each other.
It is his doom to remain in the mortal world, and yet not fully be a part of it, until the time comes when both worlds can be as one.

Well, I tried. the idea for the story was taken mainly from Celtic mythology, and Dei is a Celtic name. I just thought it fit somehow ^_^
