My Coastal Guardian.
It's kind of hard to tell what's going on here, as there are so many layers. Photo's just don't do it justice.
All the layers are hand dyed silk, and then are over-dyed using the pole wrapping Shibori technique.
There are shells and other bits for details. I'll upload a some detail shots soon.

this is stunning! I love your choice of fabrics, and the effort you put into dyeing it really paid off because the colours are exactly what I would picture for a sea guardian. Inspiring
I've lived on the sea my entire life, and this is exactly how I've always envisioned it. Enchanting... I agree with the previous comments - this is what fantasy film costumes *should* be.
