I need your help! Who should I cosplay??

I'm really at a loss for things to cosplay this year. I had a bunch of idea's but as time wears on, I realize how little of it I have to work on my own cosplays before Anime Evolution in August.

So I need your help!
I need a simple, but cool and interested cosplay that I can make in about two or three days. I also want to use my real hair, or one of the wigs I already own because I am very short on cosplay funds.

If you don't already know, my hair is strawberry blond-ish and shoulder length. The wigs I have are: long curly brown, short purple, long white, med lime green, short black, med wavy white, and very long blond (you can find most of them in my gallery).

So here's a few other suggestions and things I had in mind, but please feel free to throw all kinds of characters at me (except Naruto and anything from Kingdom Hearts)

I really like elves.
I don't mind either gender (I like bishies:D)
RPGs are awesome (any of the Tales Of games, Final Fantasy, Zelda, etc.)
Some of my favourite anime's are: Twelve Kingdoms, Wolf's Rain, FMA, Chrono Crusade, etc.
I don't mind obscure characters either.

These are just a few suggestions, but anything is welcome, as long as it's simple-ish, but not just street clothes.

With your natural hair, you could probably pull off Karen Kasumi from X/1999. She'd have a variety of outfits to choose from, too.

I also second the comment above me, Aion would be AWESOME.

Hmmm hmmmm... I just finished an Orphen marathon; you could do Orphen or Cleao without much trouble, I suspect. Or any of the characters, for that matter.

Well I don't know what 'simple' is for you, but you have the perfect hair for Natalia from Tales of the Abyss, and she has 7 different costumes to choose from.

Or, with just a few inches of a haircut, you could use your own hair and do Yako from Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. It's a REALLY awesome and new anime, and it's very simple.

-Light pink sweater/sweater vest
-Short sleeve white collared shirt
-Red bowtie
-Dark green pleated skirt
-Knee-high black class socks
-Brown classic school shoes
-(Very important) 2 hairclips

Since you mentioned a long blond wig, you could go as Leanne from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
The costume -ignoring the wings- looks easy enough:

Aion would be sweet, the jacket might be a bit tough with the details, but everything else is rather plain and easy to do! ^_^

how about a sailor scout? they look pretty simple (but i have no sewing experience whatsoever) and everyone would recognise you. some of the characters in okami have pretty simple yet awesome outfits (rao, otohime, himiko, kai, poncles...). in fact, the more i think about it, i reckon an okami character would be perfect (but then i'm obsessed with the game, so i may be biased).
