I had an Artist Alley table for the first time this year, so that is probably why.
I will most likely have a table there again next year, because I got lots of great feedback from people, and even made money! I was totally unprepared though, and didn't have enough stuff to sell so I stayed up late and got up early to sew more
I felt kinda bad because I didn't really have time to hang out with people at the end of the day, especially my house guests.
It was awesome to have *lone-momo and ~xdarksirenx stay for the weekend. Our tables were beside each other too which was great. They are both awesome girls and I hope they can come and stay with me again next year
As for the new venue, I didn't really have time to explore everywhere, and I'm still not sure if I like it better or worse then SFU. But seeing how it was a 10 min walk from my house, I vote for it being there again next year.
The AA was very hot, and wasn't quite as nice as the one at SFU, but it sure had lots of traffic. Even if it was rather disorganized.
But I'm sure if they had more then three weeks to plan a big convention at a new venue it would be a lot better.
I missed the whole cosplay aspect of the con though. I didn't really have time to go around a check them out or take pictures. And I sure didn't have the time to make any new cosplays for myself. Which was just as well, as I really wasn't feeling up to dressing up (for the first time in a very long time). I did wear Ayame on Friday, which was fun because he is comfy, and I had a great little Fruits Basket shoot with ~ripplednell and her friends.
I wore Lightning on Saturday, but it was a little uncomfortable and I ended up closing my table rather early so I could go home, change, and sew some more.
Sunday I just wore my most comfortable costume I had. Even though it was pouring rain that day, it was probably one of the best days. I felt like I could finally relax and take it easy.
So anyway, it was a good con this year, and probably the last time I'll cosplay for a while. But the baby bump is starting to show, and I'm pretty surprised I managed to still fit Lightning
But next time I do cosplay, I hope to have a little moogle baby to accompany me ^_^
I also hope to be selling some of my left over stock. But I will be selling them on Etsy when I get it set up again.
Also, I my subscription just ran out

Why do people say their heart is broken when someone hurts them? They are still fully capable of loving that someone, and often love them for ages afterwards. It's the other heart that stops loving, that's the one that needs fixing.
I need you..

I'm glad you had a good time though! I enjoyed being in AA too! I'm hoping to do it again. And I really love the arm thingies I bought from you.
Apparently next year's con is going to be in June (12-14th??) at the Vancouver convention center (Canada place, I think). We'll see how that goes. I hope this means that things will be more organized next year.
btw, still haven't picked colors for the skirt... I had pretty crazy week. I haven't even unpacked from last weekend yet. But I'm thinking and I'll let you know asap.
