~~ How To Order ~~
Step 1. Choose your Design
First pick your desired options from this chart nolwen.deviantart.com/art/Mili…
Example: I want closure 1, sleeves 4, and detail 1, 3
Step 2. Choose your Materials and Price
Classic - $120.00 CAD
For this one I will use a cotton or cotton/polyester blend twill in your colour choice. Twill is very easy to care for (can go in the washing machine and dryer), looks great and wears well. It's what I made my blue jacket from. The lining and buckle straps will be twill as well in your colour choice.
Formal - $140.00 CAD
For this choice you can have either a fancy lining with a cotton outer OR a fancy outer with a simple cotton or polyester lining.
Examples of linings would be Chinese brocade lining (like the lining on this jacket nolwen.deviantart.com/art/Red-…), silk, satin or other fancy print.
Examples of outer fabrics would be wool, velvet, denim, or a fancy outwear.
Please tell me what you have in mind and I will do my best to find it for you.
Custom - $180.00 CAD
This is pretty much whatever you want. Within reason of course.
Some examples would be: melton wool outer with silk lining, silk outer with fancy silk jacquard lining, hemp outer with bamboo lining, velvet outer with rayon brocade lining, etc.
This option also includes fancy clasps, buttons or real leather buckle straps and other little details such as applique if you so desire. If you choose this one, we will talk more in depth.
Step 3. Choose your Colours
Now you may choose one colour for your outer fabric, and one colour for you lining. Please try to be specific but also don't expect for me to get the colours right on. I will do my best to find what you want, but keep in mind I have a limited local supply of fabric. I am willing to buy fabric online but that will take longer. And please feel free to give me two or three colour preferences if you wish.
Step 4. Measurements
Please refer to this guide for measuring yourself nolwen.deviantart.com/art/Meas… and send me the results in inches or centimeters. If you want to send them to me in a note that is fine as well.
Step 5. Conformation and Payment
If I find something with your order that doesn't make sense or needs clarifying I'll let you know, if not I will go ahead and give you authorization to make payment.
I only accept Paypal. It is very easy to use and you don't even need an account, all you need is a credit card.
Shipping will be extra and is as follows.
to Canada - $6.00
to USA - $8.00
International - $10.00
Please make all payments to nolwyn@gmail.com
Please make sure that you put your deviantART username in the message to seller box so I know who has paid.
I will be shipping to the address on the paypal receipt so make sure that your shipping information with Paypal is up to date.
Congrats! You're done! Now you just have to wait for your very own custom jacket to arrive at your door!

2016 Art Goals
So, I normally don't do New Years resolutions, but I do like to make goals for myself, so considering it's a new calendar year it's as good a time as any to get my goals down in a tangible form. So here goes.
Finish and upload artwork.
I have a horrible habit of not finishing anything when it comes to personal artwork, or any personal work for that matter. I don't think even any of my cosplays I ever made for myself were actually finished. This has been something I have struggled with my whole life, even as a kid, I never finished anything, and the memories of those unfinished projects still kind of haunt me today. So, as a goal for mys
I Won NaNoWriMo!
Hey all, I'm super excited, you guys!! I finished something! A novel draft even! I am a terrible procrastinator and can be very lazy so the fact that I wrote 50,000 words in 24 days is a big accomplishment for me. You have no idea.
Even though this draft is a hot mess, I am very excited to edit and polish it up because I actually really like it. Who knows, maybe if anyone is interested I'll post some chapters. And illustrated character profiles because I love doing those :D
Welp, time to get on with the house cleaning and baking that I have been neglecting all month.
NaNoWriMo
Hey guys, I'm writing a novel! It's pretty darn exciting!! Not the novel (that's for readers to decide, hopefully someday) but the fact that I'm writing one!
It's probably a hot mess right now, and I can't go back and edit it till I get to 50,000 words by the end of the month, so yay! But it's all about fantasy, earthy stuff, and some of my characters that I have created costumes for even make an appearance. It's nice to finally meet them.
Yup, that's it for now. Bye :)
Getting Back into Arts
Hey DA world, how's it going?
So things seem to have changed a lot since I've really frequented this place and it makes me feel kinda old. But I've been prioritizing getting back into visual arts so I'll hopefully be submitting stuff again. I've been watching lots of YouTube videos and tutorials and generally getting inspired to draw and paint again.
I had a big wedding dress commission this summer and it really made think that, all though it was a wonderful experience, and I had a blast doing it, I'm just not set up to do big scale sewing projects anymore. My poor dog was banned from the house most of the summer so she wouldn't get

Man. I would buy this is a heart beat.
However...I don't know what my funds look like at the moment.
In the event that I do indeed have enough for one of these beauties, I was wondering if you could help me price a bit.
I'm looking for one that I could wear year round. Warm but not heavy.
on that note, (still in the 'if' case. please dont actually sign me up yet. ) where would closure 1 (snaps and buckles), sleeve either 1 or 2, epulets, and embroidery (do you do embroidery?) on the back put me?
I suppose it depends alot on materials....Sorry if i am being a bother. D
I hope to have enough money soon. DD
